I’m sorry it’s been so long again since I posted on the Bathtime Blog. Unfortunately my daddy has been very busy writing his project for his Open University course and has hogged the computer for weeks. I finally got a chance tonight to update you on what I’ve been up to.Â
Yesterday my cousin Eleanor and I went to the Dinosaur Park and had a great day. We came across lots of ferocious dinosaurs but I wasn’t afraid.
Â

In fact most of them were very well trained dinosaurs, like this one which stayed behind the fence. As long as you didn’t go too close you were safe. But not that everybody heeded my advice.

Eleanor and I were only naughty once throughout the entire day so I thought mummy’s punishment was a bit over the top.
Â
There was so much for us to do including Raptor Races which was great fun. Me and Daddy went around the track 3 times before he complained of being k-nackered (whatever that means) but Auntie Sarah just went on and on and on. Perhaps she couldn’t find the brakes.

Even mummy showed her enegetic side by flying over the assault course. I was well impressed (especially by the way she got over the climbing wall).

Go mummy. Time to beat is 2 minutes 20 seconds.

Great effort. 3 minutes exactly and second place behind daddy.
By the end of the day we were thoroughly worn out. Before going to bed we read my favourite dinosaur book which goes ‘Shake, shake shudder, near the sludgy old swamp. The dinosaurs are coming get ready to romp’
So beware!

I picked up a tennis racket today for the first time and daddy gave me a coaching lesson. As you can see after a little while my service motion was looking fairly good. I still need to work on my ball toss though.

We had a great game until the umpire overruled a line call. It was an outragious decision which I just couldn’t let go. It was clearly on the line.

As you’d expect I threw down my racket (received a code violation in the process) and stormed off to play with my daddy’s new football goal. Yes, I did say daddy’s. Gran actually bought the goal for him for his birthday. Uhm. Still, I’m enjoying it. It makes a good scramble net as well.

After so much exertion there was only one thing left to do. Sit down, relax and read a good book.

Another busy day over. Oh, incidentally we finished off daddy’s birthday cake today. Oh I do love a bit of cake, have I told you that?

Today was my Daddy’s birthday though he wouldn’t tell me how old he is – I imagine therefore that he is very old indeed. Still he does OK considering.
Daddy got lots of cards and mummy baked him a cake, although it turned out that she brought it from the cake shop around the corner and just added the icing. Good thinking mum – next time though remember to take the label off the clingfilm.

Still I do love a bit of cake, don’t you? Yeh, a bit of cake, lovely, CAKE, yeh cake, CAKE

ooh, lovely cake …

A reprieve in the recent rainfall has enabled me to get out on my motorbike that my cousin Joel kindly donated to me (though I’m not sure whether he is aware of his generosity).Â

I’m quite a nifty rider and I’m confident that it won’t be long before I’m sitting alongside Valentino Rossi on the front row of the grid.

Then again, a little more practice on those turns might not go amiss.

Yesterday marked a very sad occasion for me. For the past 2 years I have been looked after on a Monday by Lois, but sadly Lois and her family are moving away from Norwich. However, the main reason why I can no longer go to see Lois is because she will soon be having another baby and she is getting rather large (too many doughnuts me thinks). I will miss Lois, Caitlin and Eloise very much and thank them for playing with me these past couple of years. I have had a really fun time.
Here we are on my final day with the girls.

To say thank you I bought Lois a willow tree character with ‘miss you’ written on it.

Thanks again Lois. All my love, Isaac x x x.
