Introducing my little sister Emily

Yesterday, whilst I was busy playing at Montessori my Mummy gave birth to a little baby.  Now those of you who know me well will be aware that I desperately wanted a little sister.  A boy simply wasn’t an option.  I sensed it would be a girl from the moment Mummy and Daddy told me about the imminent arrival and hey presto, just as I thought, I have a lovely sister.

Would you like to meet her?

Would yer?

OK.  Introducing Emily Rose Cate, born at 12.12 on Tuesday 10th February. Weighing in at 7lb and 4oz.

As you’d expect Daddy had to get in on the action so got into his scrubs ready to deliver the baby.  He was most disappointed when they said he wouldn’t be required on this occasion.

Emily was quickly introduced to Mummy and I think that they were very pleased to meet each other

I popped over a little later after nursery very excited to meet my sister.  Fortunately the bed was big enough for all of us so I squeezed in beside my girls.

Gran and Grandad took me to meet Emily.  Gran was just a little excited to meet her latest Granddaughter.

It wasn’t long before Emily was having to endure Grandad’s stories about G4 vans breaking down and empty cash machines.
Yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn

Yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn

Just you wait until he starts telling jokes Emily

Congraulations to you all and hope that you have all settled down together as a family. Glad you got the house finished before Emily came along even if it was by the skin of your teeth, it looks lovely especially the kitchen.

What a lovely face.Anyone would have thought she was a doll! I like your dads PyJamas! I can’t believe that I was at her side only just after she was born!
Mind you, I don’t think she was that interested in King-Kong!
