Hijacked

The more observant members of my readership may have noticed that recently The Bathtime Blog has been, how can I put it politely, hijacked by my daddy.  I have reminded him that the blog is Isaac’s view of life and he has admitted that he has overstepped the mark somewhat in letting everyone know what he’s been up to.

So, what have I been up to then … uhm.  Think think think.  Come on Isaac, you must have done something.  Oh no, what am I doing with my life?  Back to you daddy.

Thanks Isaac, go back to your room now.

Now, in addition to suggestions that I’ve been hijacking Isaac’s blog, I’ve also had a request for an update on the building project.  Well, there isn’t too much more to show just yet but we are now felted in and ready to put the windows and back door in.

Dormer window from below.  I did say there wasn’t much to see.

By the end of the week we should be water tight and then we can start to knock a few walls down.  I even intend to get a bit more hands on myself (they could do with an experienced hand after all).  One of my first tasks is to knock the old rendering off the existing front of the house in preparation for a new squeaky clean render just waiting to be painted pink.  Isaac’s favourite colour you should know.

Oh, and just in case you’ve forgotten what Isaac looks like …

Well done Isaac in taking control again, it will be good to wach the progress of the extension but also to see what you have been up to.I will not be able to have updates with your dad when he stops coming in to Families’ House, but hope he will bring you in to see us all sometimes.
