Strike 3

Doesn’t time fly?  It hardly seems like yesterday when I made my first entrance into the world and now look at me, 3 years old and celebrating with my lovely family and friends. 

One of my favourite films is Toy Story and I really wanted an RC with Woody and Buzz Lightyear.  I wasn’t let down.  It is a remote control car which I love zooming around the house.

In the afternoon we headed for the bowling lanes and met up with Taylor, Lydia and Eleanor as well as a few other hanger ons.  It wasn’t long before I was demonstrating my bowling skills and on my 2nd go scored a STRIKE.

After bowling we cut the cake and boy what a cake.  I don’t know if you’re familiar with the Numberjacks on CBeebees but mummy baked me Numberjack 3.  It was great.

I stood on a chair to get a better picture of it.  Well done Mummy.

I had lots of other exciting presents including an Iggle Piggle, an Iggle Piggle scooter, sticker Christmas story book, mega bloks, Bob the Builder Skip, a police uniform, Tractor and manure spreader, a hideaway tent, Charlie and Lola plate mats and much more besides for which I thank everyone very much.

Sadly, the weekend was also tinged with sadness because it was the last time that we’ll see Nic and Jon before they travel to Nepal in January. 

We are going to miss them so much over the next 2 years or so but I’ll keep you posted on how they are doing.  We’ve brought Skype and a VideoCam to help us stay in touch.

We had a lovely weekend with Nic and Jon and I even managed to get them to stop eating for a few moments to take me out for a nice walk to test my scooter out.
