My mummy at work
I thought that you’d like to know what my mummy does at work whilst daddy and I are getting up to mischeive at home. Â

Cometh the hour, cometh the man
There are big changes to report on The Bathtime Blog. Firstly, mummy and daddy appear to be making another concerted effort to rid me of my beloved nappies. Evidently their previous attempts failed because they have resorted to new sinister tactics. My potty has been upgraded to the super deluxe throne of potty’s. Believe it or not, when I sit on it I am greeted with a delightful little tune. Better still, when I grace it with my you know what, the potty celebrates with me by playing a fanfare chorus. All very funny to you, totally humiliating to me. Anyway, I’ve had partial success but won’t offer you any further details just now.
The next thing I know I’ve been chucked out of my cot. I now have a new bed as I’m a ‘big boy now’. Surprisingly, (given how long it took him to put the stairgate up) Daddy put the bed together in record time. He was playing a Matt Redman CD as he did it supposedly to stop him swearing when things started to go wrong. But they never did.
However, it went up without a hitch. It looked great and I couldn’t wait to get in it but firstly mummy gave me the conditions of use. Apparently, I’m not to get out of my bed until morning.
I even had to shake on it. Deal or no deal?
I am maturing into a fine young man now and as you can see my abilities with my brio blocks and playdough go from strength to strength. My guitar playing isn’t bad either (it’s definately better than daddy’s so my mummy says).
Though needless to say, I still have my moments.

A long time in coming
Greetings readers. I’m sorry that it has been so long since I last updated my blog. In all honesty there hasn’t been an awful lot to tell you about and since Christmas we’ve all been feeling a bit under the weather. I had the worstest flu that I’ve ever had and experienced fever for at least two days. I had so much Calpol that I turned pink. I thought it only fair to let my daddy know how I was feeling so I passed it onto him. Daddy looked awful (yes, much worse than normal) and mummy told all her friends that it was proper flu rather than man flu. What does she mean? All I wanted to do for the week was watch CBeebees and Daddy didn’t have the energy to prevent me. By Friday Daddy said he had post viral CBeebees depression. Mummy managed to hold it off for another week before succumbing to the germs (she had little chance of avoiding it judging by the number of snotty tissues lying around the house). Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to show of this period although if I did I’m not sure that they would get past the censors.
However, last weekend was very exciting because we all went to Frank and Sue’s house and stayed over night. Frank and Sue are Isabela and Angelika’s nanny and grandad. They’re well cool! Frank has a big beard that tickled me when I kissed him. Our friends Mary and Ermir and Ralf and Linda stayed the night with us and I got to sleep in my new blow up Thomas the Tank Engine bed for the first time. We had lots of fun and great food and I want to thank Frank and Sue for their hospitality. Â
